Chocolate Indulgence Cookies

A few months ago my cousin and her boyfriend, who were traveling all over the world for a year, made a pit stop here in Israel to visit us. The boyfriend is a professional chef, so we had a great time discussing food. After finding out what a chocoholic I am, he said that he has an amazing chocolate cookie recipe. Of course he had me at "chocolate", so finally I received a facebook message with the recipe!

The cookies are true to their name, a true Indulgence. With 21 ounces of chocolate, chocolate chips AND white chocolate chips - it is a chocolate fiesta all in one cookie! The best thing is if you time the baking just right you will get such a to-die-for gooey center. YUMMY!

Chocolate Indulgence Cookies

100g Butter (1/2 cup)
5 large Eggs
400g Sugar (1 2/3 cup)
600g Dark Chocolate, melted (21 oz)
1 tsp Vanilla
85g Flour (1/3 cup)
8g Baking Powder (1 1/2 tsp)
5g Salt (1 tsp)
225g Dark Chocolate Chips (1 cup)
225g White Chocolate Chips (1 cup)

Preheat oven to 325. Cream butter, sugar and eggs on high speed until light (about 3 minutes). Lower to medium speed and add the melted chocolate. Mix until combined. Add the vanilla, flour, baking powder and salt. On low speed add the chocolate chips. Scoop batter onto a cookie pan lined with parchment paper, and bake 10 - 12 minutes (depending on how gooey you like your cookies).
